One More Thing..!

Special participation by the Granville Farmers Market, Canal Market District, the Licking County Local Food Council and 30 Mile Meal!

The Licking County Local Food Council’s mission is to promote locally produced foods and sustainable agricultural systems that benefit our health, our land, and our community.  With members representing food producers, processors, distributors, local governments, schools, universities, business owners, not-for-profit organizations involved in local-food advocacy, health professionals, hunger advocates, and concerned citizens, the Licking County Local Food Council (LCLFC) holds meetings and hosts events in order to further the conversation around local food within Licking County and to facilitate connections between players in the local food system.

A Great Event for a Great Cause

The Granville Rotary Foundation supports scholarships and projects locally that directly benefit the Granville community and beyond, including the new pedestrian bridge connecting the Evans bike path to Raccoon Valley Park. We also support the building of water projects in Haiti in conjunction with the Worthington AM Club and the Rotary Club of Ounaminthe, Haiti. So far we have built 18 clean water wells.

This year’s fundraising goal is $25,000.  Granville Rotary notes that this event change will enable the club to direct 100% of the proceeds to support the many service projects of Granville Rotary.
